Fuel Up to Play 60 is a youth-oriented program that encourages students to practice healthy eating habits and engage in physical activity. Through active involvement in this project, students make healthier choices for themselves as well as help make a difference in their schools and communities.
Fuel Up to Play 60 is a joint undertaking of the National Dairy Council and the National Football League, in a combined effort with the United States Department of Agriculture. Participating schools can give their students the opportunity to receive academic grants and earn NFL prizes.
Students can take part in school challenges by choosing healthy foods and being involved in active play for at least an hour on a daily basis. Fuel up to Play 60 aims to positively impact the academic performance and behavior of students through better nutrition and active play.
