Fitbits range in price from about $60 to $250, as of 2015, depending on the type purchased. The more features a Fitbit includes, the more it costs.
The cheapest Fibit model is the Zip, which tracks steps taken, calories burned and distance traveled. The One and the Flex are similar in price with the added features of sleep tracking and a silent wake alarm, but the One features a "stairs climbed" tracker, while the Flex does not. The Charge has all of the features of the previous models along with automatic sleep detection and caller ID. The Charge HR model measures a person's continuous heart rate, along with all the features of the Charge. Finally, the most expensive Fitbit is the Surge, which provides text notifications, music control and GPS tracking on top of the features of the other models.
