Building a successful exercise regimen takes hard work, dedication and patience. You get results when you are consistent. It is better to exercise for short periods of time instead of expecting yourself to exercise for a long time each day.
On days you do not feel like working out, force yourself to exercise at a high intensity for a short period of time. This not only helps you get through the training faster; it also improves your mood.
Find an accountability buddy that is also wanting to get fit, and keep in touch to make sure you are both sticking to your regimen. Don't worry about competition, don't compare yourself to others, and don't be dissuaded by guilt if you occasionally miss an exercise session.
