The number of Weight Watchers points one gets in a day is calculated by gender, age, current weight and height. As the weight changes with the plan, so does the daily point allowance.
The Weight Watchers plan also offers activity points. These points are earned through exercise and are calculated by weight and duration of exercise in minutes plus the level of exercise, whether it is at a low, moderate or high speed. These points are put towards the daily allowance as well. The average daily points allowance is high enough to allow for three meals a day plus two snacks.
