How Many Calories Are Burned During a Bodycombat Workout?

BODYCOMBAT is a cardio workout that involves various muscles of the body. It is inspired by several disciplines of martial arts, including karate, tai chi and tae kwon do. Expect to lose 737 calories in one 55-minute session.

There are live instructors and music during each session to guide participants through strikes, punches, kata and kicks. The program is made by a New Zealand company, Les Mills International, founded by the four-time olympian that it's named for and his wife, Colleen.

The company offers many group workouts that revolve around popular music, and new sessions are released four times a year. The BODYCOMBAT program is taught mostly in health clubs.
