Losing weight requires burning more calories than you consume each day. Avoid eating fatty dairy, meat, starches, salt and added sugars. Eat three balanced meals each day, consisting of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, seafood, whole grains and other low-calorie foods. Snack at a minimum, and avoid eating when you're bored. Consider keeping a daily food log to track your intake.

Never stop taking medications without a doctor's approval. Alcoholic beverages also cause facial water retention, so try to avoid consumption.Learn more about Muscle Toning
