The easiest way to make your breath smell good is to practice good oral hygiene routinely. This includes brushing your teeth at least twice daily, flossing and using a mouthwash rinse following each brushing session.
Special attention should be given to the tongue while brushing. The majority of bacteria responsible for bad breath tend to accumulate in this area of the mouth.
Flossing removes particles of food caught between teeth and reduces the likelihood of tooth decay. Flossing also prevents a disorder of the gums called periodontal disease. Tooth decay and not flossing are prime contributors to the problem of bad breath.
Rinsing with fluoride-fortified mouth wash is another tool to help breath smell better.
