The highest-rated multivitamin manufacturer is Centrum, with 63 percent of pharmacists recommending this brand, according to U.S. News and World Report. The second-highest rated multivitamin company was One A Day, which received 18 percent of pharmacists' votes. For highly concentrated vitamin C or citric acid supplements, Emergen-C came in first with 56 percent of votes, and Ester-C took second place with 22 percent.
Pharmacists also voted on the best manufacturer of letter vitamin supplements such as vitamin D, which promotes bone health, and vitamin A, which protects sight. Nature Made received an endorsement from 53 percent of pharmacists for their letter vitamins, while Nature's Bounty came in second with 29 percent of votes, according to the 2015 Pharmacy Times survey, also published on OTCguide.net. The most highly recommended brand of prenatal vitamins was One A Day, with 43 percent of votes, and Nature Made Multi Prenatal earned second place with 18 percent. Centrum Specialist Prenatal won 17 percent of votes. The top-rated children's multivitamin was Flintstones Gummies/Multivitamins, which won 54 percent of pharmacists' votes.
