The 8 Minute AMRAP Workout comprises five-rep sets of Spartan Makers and Burpee/Pushup/Broad Jump. To perform a Spartan Maker, start in a push-up position with each hand on a dumbbell. Do two push-ups, and then pull one of the dumbbells upward alongside the rib cage. Replace the dumbbell and do another push-up. Repeat the process, using the other arm to lift a dumbbell.
Jump the feet up toward the hands and stand and press the two dumbbells. Bring the dumbbells to waist height and squat until the dumbbells just touch the floor. Return to push-up position.
To perform one rep of Burpee/Pushup/Broad Jumps, start by standing with the feet 6 inches apart. Bend at the knees, put the hands on the floor and jump the legs straight out, and then do one push-up. Bring the feet back up and jump forward as far as possible, throwing the arms forward to add extra momentum.
The 45 Minute HIIT Cardio and Abs Workout also includes burpees and push ups. This workout focuses equally on core and cardiovascular strength.
