Chatelaine's raw soup, Gaiam's green detox drink and Health.com's banana shake are some good recipes for full-body detoxification. These recipes include healthy fruits and vegetables and are reasonably low in fat and calories.
To make Chatelaine's raw soup, place 1 cup spinach, 1/2 clove garlic, 1/2 cup cucumber, 1 cup sunflower sprouts and 1/2 of a large avocado in a blender. Add 1 cup purified water, 1/4 cup fresh herbs, 2 pinches of sea salt, and fresh lemon juice and cayenne pepper to taste. Blend for about 30 seconds or until just smooth.
For Gaiam Life's green detox drink, place 3 carrots, 3 kale leaves, 2 celery stalks, 2 beets and 1 turnip in a blender. Add 1/2 a bunch of spinach, 1/2 a cabbage, 1/2 a bunch of parsley,, 1/2 an onion and 2 garlic cloves. Mix with water and puree.
