Garlic does nothing to remove moles, states WebMD. If a mole needs to be removed for medical or cosmetic reasons, a person should consult a doctor to determine the best removal method.
Most moles are completely harmless, but WebMD suggests examining them regularly for warning signs of cancerous or pre-cancerous symptoms. This includes asymmetrical shape, a ragged or undefined border, a mottled or blue or black coloration, a diameter greater than that of a pencil eraser, or the evolution of a mole's size, shape or coloration over time. Moles that hurt, bleed or weep should also be checked out by a doctor as soon as possible.
