Melon has a low pH (6.1), making it another good fruit for people dealing with acid problems, such as acid reflux, notes Health Media Ventures. Some good melons to try are cantaloupe, watermelon and honeydew. About 1 to 2 percent of people don't see an improvement from eating melon.
Aside from these fruits, some vegetables help lower acidity in the body, says Health Media Ventures. Fennel is a good example with a low pH of 6.9, almost pH neutral.
