On Healthgrades, find a doctor by specialty or procedure, and define your location. Check a doctor’s qualification and patient feedback, and use the Conditions Treated category to select a condition that fits your search criteria. View the doctor’s age, education and training, recognition, hospital affiliation, and malpractice and sanctions, if any. Healthgrades provides driving directions to a doctor’s office and lets you make an appointment and check insurance plans.

Search for a physician on ZocDoc by specialty or name, and specify a location by state, ZIP code or city. Enter your insurance plan in the field provided before clicking the search button. Select the Female tab to list preferred obstetricians by gender, and find physicians who are available either before 10 a.m. or after 5 p.m., using the More Options tab. Define the reason for your visit, and check the doctor’s availability to schedule an appointment. View the profiles of listed physicians to find their education, board certifications, accepted insurance plans and patient ratings, according to ZocDoc.
