MeetMe's Match feature allows users to match with each other based on gender, age and geographical location. This feature displays a game board with photos of 12 different users. When two users pick each other, they are a match.
On the main Match page, Meetme displays all the search criteria as well as a pictures of the users, their user names, and an About Me section for each member. The About Me section varies between users, but can contain a short bio as well as favorite music, movies and other interests. There is an option to hide people who are in relationships, so all users shown are single. MeetMe keeps track of users' secret admirers, matches and people the users admire. Once two users match, they can message each other or send virtual gifts.
If a user wants to remove himself from the Match feature, he must navigate to the settings page and find the "Who can pick me in Match?" setting. Next, the user clicks the "Don't include me in Match" button and hits the save button.
MeetMe is also a website for making friendships and meeting local people. To do this, users can browse locals, check the Feed, and play games like Ask Me.
