Enroll children in Wisconsin's Healthy Kids Learn More Program through their classroom teacher. Educators can go to the Healthy Kids Learn More website and choose the Sign Me Up for a Preview option, following the instructions when prompted.
Educators can choose to enroll their students in a few different programs. All of the courses in the program are for kindergarten to third grade students and are led by a teacher with the use of a projector or a Smart Board. Individual user names and passwords are assigned to children in grades four through eight. For all grade levels, the online content is paired with a number of offline activities in the classroom that expand upon the online learning.
The health and wellness program available through the Healthy Kids Learn More programs helps students learn how to live a healthy lifestyle. Interactive e-learning programs and games for kindergarten through eighth grade help children learn about the importance of physical activity and how to avoid childhood obesity. Children learn how food and physical activity impacts the body, how to choose healthy foods and beverages, and how to maintain a positive self-image. Teachers can implement program as a standalone or they can incorporate it into their own curriculum.
