Eli Lilly offers assistance to patients needing help obtaining medications through several programs, such as Lilly Cares, PatientOne or LillyMedicareAnswers. Patients must meet certain income guidelines to qualify for assistance through these programs.
The Lilly Cares program is available to U.S. residents who have no form of prescription drug coverage. The program sends medications such as Humalog, Prozac, Evista and Cymbalta to the patients' health care providers, and refills are available for one year.
The Lilly PatientOne program supplies oncology medications to patients needing ongoing cancer therapy. Patients must not have insurance coverage for treatment.
To receive assistance through the LillyMedicareAnswers program, patients must enroll in a prescription plan through Medicare Part D.
