Dr. Mark Stengler received his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, after completing premedical studies at Mt. Royal College in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and the University of Calgary. His training combined a standard medical curriculum with training in holistic and nontoxic methods. He is a diplomate of the College of Physicians and holds certifications in intravenous nutrient therapy and homeotherapeutics.
Licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in California and Arizona, Dr. Stengler is a member of the American Association of Integrative Medicine and the American College for Advancement in Medicine. In addition to serving on a medical advisory committee to Yale University's Complementary Medicine Outcomes Research Project, Dr. Stengler previously served as an associate clinical professor at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
Mark Stengler lives in San Diego County, California and operates the Stengler Center for Integrative Medicine in Encinitas, California. He also hosts a weekly television program broadcast on PBS and cable stations in the United States, and has reported as a medical expert on the FOX, CBS and NBC television networks. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Stengler holds a Masters of Religious Studies degree from Southern California Seminary.
