HeathZenith showcases a variety of motion-activated security lights on its website, including the solar-powered HZ-1931, the 240-degree HZ-5105 and the 110-degree HZ-5408. HeathZenith lighting products utilize light-emitting diodes, standard halogen, metal halide and high-pressure sodium bulbs, notes its website.
According to the manufacturer's specifications, the HZ-1931 emits 430 lumens of light, and since it's solar-powered, it doesn't utilize electricity or require hard-wiring. The motion sensor has a 40-foot detection range, and the LED bulbs are bright and energy-efficient. The HZ-5105 creates a 240-degree swath of light, and with its 100-foot detection range, it allows for even greater coverage. Though it uses 150-watt halogen flood bulbs, it is also LED bulb compatible, explains HeathZenith.
