In most cases, patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux may have to limit or eliminate foods, such as citrus fruits, spicy foods, tomatoes, garlic, onions, mint, caffeinated drinks and carbonated beverages. Additionally, a patient may need to limit his intake of fatty or fried foods.
