The Curves six-week solution is a six-week fitness and nutrition program designed to initialize weight loss and teach and motivate participants to live a healthy lifestyle. The program includes seven thirty-minute fitness classes, a personal coach and a phased meal plan.
The Curves fitness program consists of upper, middle and lower body strength training classes and cardiovascular training classes. Classes are administered by the coach to a small group of participants. The first phase of the meal plan reduces caloric intake through portion control and teaching healthy meal and snack choices. The second phase adds healthy calories in order for the participant to build muscle while continuing to lose weight. Once the ideal weight is reached, which may occur after the six-week period, a third phase enables the participant to maintain his or her ideal weight using the knowledge and techniques learned while in the program. Program membership also includes a Curves tote bag, t-shirt, protein shake and member guide.
