Bed sores or pressure sores are not treated with any type of cream, according to WebMD. Common treatments include taking pressure off of the area with a sore, keeping the area clean and eating a healthy diet high in protein to promote healing.
The pressure sore must be kept bandaged and may need to be kept moist in between changes, states WebMD. The area around the sore should be kept clean and dry. Changing positions often and using special pillows and supports can keep pressure off of the sore, allowing it to heal. Sometimes, bacteria may grow in the dead tissue and cause an infection. This is treated with antibiotics and, in some cases, surgery.
