Common problems with NordicTrack include the machine not powering up, the machine powering off, problems adjusting the belt speed accordingly, and the inability to turn off the display. Most of these issues are correctable by reading the enclosed manual or by calling customer support.
Issues with powering up and powering off the machine are often related to it not being plugged in to a surge protector or properly functioning outlet. In addition, it is also possible that the circuit breaker on the treadmill needs to be reset. When the belt speed is too slow, the belt is most likely over-tightened. The remedy to this is to use the hex key provided and turn the roller belts counterclockwise.
