The approximate number of new cases of female breast cancer in 2015 is expected to be over 232,000, notes the National Cancer Institute. Similarly, the expected new cases of lung cancer is over 221,000, while the projected figure for prostate cancer is 220,800.
The estimated deaths attributed to breast cancer is expected to be over 40,000 for 2015. Additionally, men are also affected by breast cancer, and expected new male cases is over 2,300.
