The treatment locator lets users search by city, state and ZIP code for local mental health services and resources.
Those in need of emergency mental health services can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-8255 for immediate help, according to MentalHealth.gov. As of September 2015, live online chat is also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration of the federal government also connects patients with mental health services in their local areas.
