Many multivitamins are suited for people with certain nutritional needs or conditions. Some contain iron or high-potency formulas with around two-thirds of the nutrients specified by recommended dietary allowances. Some multivitamins also provide extra nutrients, such as antioxidants, or specialized formulations, such as prenatal vitamins.
