One of the best ways to persuade someone to exercise is to lead by example. If someone sees a friend or family member exercising, this can encourage him to start a fitness routine or even join his friend or family member. Some people may be persuaded once they realize that exercise can be fun.
When people think of exercise, they may envision lifting weights, running on a treadmill or attending a group exercise class. While all of these things are great ways to exercise, they do not have to be the only ways to improve fitness. Dancing, swimming, bodyboarding, walking, hiking, skating, bicycling and playing sports are all terrific ways to make exercise a part of someone's life. These are all fun activities that people enjoy participating in.
