A list of states and their corresponding hourly minimum wage rates, which became effective on February 24, 2015, is available on the United States Department of Labor (DOL) and the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) websites. There is no minimum wage legislation implemented in Alabama, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Federal minimum wage laws are enacted in these states.
The DOL provides an interactive map of the U.S. where users can click on their respective states to obtain information regarding that state's minimum wage rate. The map also includes the District of Columbia and other U.S. dependencies. Aside from the index of 2015 minimum wage rates, NCSL also presents projected increases in minimum wages in some states.
