To lose weight in four days, keep track of how many calories you consume, exercise each day, eat healthy meals and avoid unhealthy eating habits. Safely losing 1 or 2 pounds in four days is difficult, but it is possible.
- Count calories
To lose weight in four days, you need to burn at least 500 more calories than you put in your body each day. Keep track of the calories you consume, and plan your exercise routines accordingly.
- Exercise every day
Plan to do at least one full hour of exercise each day. Perform cardiovascular exercises, and try to build a sweat. Going jogging is an excellent way to burn calories. Don't push your body too hard, especially if you have not been active lately. Start slow, and increase intensity over time. Remember to stay hydrated.
- Eat better foods
Eat foods with healthy fats, such as nuts or avocados, and plenty of fiber, and try to fill up on vegetables when possible. Make meals from lean meat, fish, egg whites, soy or skinless chicken.
- Eat at appropriate times
Try to eat three healthy meals each day at the same time. Don't eat just to pass the time. If you feel like you eat more when feeling emotionally vulnerable, consider speaking to a nutrition counselor or a dietitian.
