Cutting too many calories can be dangerous and might leave your body malnourished; however, burning more calories than you eat each day can lead to quick weight loss. Burning 500 calories more than you consume each day can help you shed up to 2 pounds in a week.
- Change your diet
A diet with fewer starches, added sugars and animal fats is healthy for the body and aids in weight loss. Adding nutritious foods, such as fruits, vegetables, egg whites, soy products, non-fat dairy foods and lean meats, introduces healthier calories into your diet. Drinking water also helps with weight loss, because water makes you feel fuller and so you eat less.
