To look more handsome, start by creating a flattering hairstyle, implementing a grooming routine around a regular shower or bath, and attending to your skin and nails. It is also helpful to wear flattering clothes that you have tailored for fit.
- Get a flattering hairstyle
Consult with a hairstylist about your face shape and hair texture, and discuss haircut options to find one that suits your face and is easy to maintain. Have the stylist show you how to style your hair so you can maintain your look.
- Bathe daily
Bathe regularly, washing your hair as soon as it becomes lank or greasy.
- Use face wash
Rather than using regular body soap on your face, switch to face wash. Look for a face wash that is non-abrasive. Give your facial muscles a massage as you cleanse, to invigorate them.
- Exfoliate before shaving
Use an exfoliating scrub on your face before shaving. Use a single-blade safety razor to cut down on razor burn.
- Apply moisturizer
Directly after your shower, or after your shave, apply a moisturizer formulated for the face. Do not use body lotion. Use eye cream under your eyes. Use lotion for the rest of your body.
- Groom your nails
Use an orange wood stick or other manicure tool to remove dirt from under your fingernails. After showering, apply cream or lotion to your cuticles. Once nails are completely dry, shape them with a nail file.
- Apply sunscreen
After your moisturizer has had a few minutes to soak into your skin, apply a generous amount of sunscreen to any exposed portions of your face and body.
- Put on flattering clothes
Choose clothing styles that flatter your body type. Have clothes tailored so that they fit well.
