Patients can finance the cost of a dental implant procedure using options such as CareCredit and Citi Health Card, according to their websites. Both health care credit cards have networks of participating dental providers and require patients to make minimum monthly payments.
CareCredit offers no-interest financing for up to 24 months on procedures of $200 or more when a patient pays the minimum amount due each month and pays the balance due by the end of the loan period. If a patient does not meet the terms, the company charges interest from the original purchase date, explains CareCredit.
Citibank issues the Citi Health Card with credit approval, and dental providers offer monthly payment plans under the card, according to Citigroup. Patients make their payments online or by mail to Citi Health Card, instead of paying their dentists directly.
