For a needs-based discounted rate, applicants may be required to fill out and submit a financial assistance application along with a recent tax return or other financial documents. Furthermore, they may be required to resubmit documentation on a recurring basis.
Many YMCA locations offer discounted annual membership fees to active duty members of the Armed Forces. Military members are usually required to provide identification at the time of enrollment. In addition, some YMCA locations offer free enrollments to active duty military personnel due to partnerships with YMCA of the Armed Forces.
