WebMD offers a body mass index chart for both men and women on its website. A BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 indicates a healthy body weight, while a BMI of 25 to 29.9 indicates that a person is overweight. A BMI greater than 30 indicates obesity, according to WebMD.
To use the chart on WebMD, find your weight in pounds on the column on the left of the chart, and then slide your finger over to your corresponding height, advises WebMD.
The American Cancer Society also publishes a BMI chart on its website. It is also possible to calculate your BMI by multiplying your weight in pounds by 703 and dividing the result by your height in inches squared, notes the American Cancer Society.
