Air Alert is a two-phase body-weight training program that aims to give users a higher vertical jump. In the first phase, the training regimen increases vertical jumps by 8 to 14 inches over the course of 15 weeks. The second phase helps users increase this by 3 to 5 inches over an additional six weeks. Training is based on a three-day workout schedule that rotates on odd and even weeks. According to the Air Alert website, the full program comes with phase I and II workout charts, a 43-page training manual, a 33-minute DVD, two measurement charts and a slam dunk video for motivation.
The system uses six exercises that target the glutes, thighs, calves and hamstrings. In addition to increasing jump height, the training program also strengthens the knees, improves cardio endurance, improves elasticity of the Achilles tendon, increases ankle strength and improves initial speed.
