A calorie burning table is a chart that shows the estimated number of calories burned by common exercise activities. The chart may contain entries for individuals of different weights; a heavier person burns more calories doing the same amount of exercise as lighter person.
Calorie burning tables are rarely completely accurate, as many different factors influence the amount of calories a person burns during exercise. In addition to body weight, intensity of activity, conditioning level, age and metabolism all affect the calories that comparable levels of exercise burn. Even the calories burned by a single individual change over time as the individual becomes more fit.
