Coenzyme Q10 is considered safe for most people with only mild side effects such loss of appetite, nausea, upset stomach and vomiting being reported in some people, states WebMD. However, there is some concern that supplementing with coenzyme Q10 reduces the efficacy of chemotherapy in cancer patients.
