To become a member at your local Curves, call or visit the location and speak to a Curves associate. Find a Curves using the Locations tool on Curves.com, as of June 2015.
Visit the Curves home page and click on Find A Center. Select a country and enter your ZIP code, or select a state and enter your city. Results are displayed on a list and a map, with the Curves logo indicating each location. Click on Center Details for more information on a specific location, or click on Directions for directions to that gym. The Center Details page provides the gym's phone number, address and hours.
Gary and Diane Heavin founded Curves in 1992, and it has grown to over 3,000 locations in the United States, as of 2015. The franchise focuses on women's fitness, and many of its gyms are exclusively for women. Certain locations allow men to join. Curves offers classes that focus on different parts of the body through its Curves Fitness program.
Curves Complete launched in 2012. The program focuses on weight loss and management. Members of the program receive a customized meal plan and private coaching. Curves teamed up with Jillian Michaels in 2014 for Curves Workouts, which are total body workout routines.
