Airborne is a brand of vitamin supplements that does not work as a cold remedy yet alleges to support immune system health, reports Forbes. In 2008 Airborne paid $23 million to settle a class action lawsuit due to advertising products falsely as cold remedies.
As of 2015, Airborne products contain a disclaimer that they are not FDA- approved and that the products dont cure, prevent or treat any disease, notes the Airborne website. Airborne products are available in the form of lozenges, chewables and gummies. They come in different flavors and quantities. A second-grade teacher created Airborne, says Everyday Health.
