The AdvoCare diet plan menu includes fresh fruits and vegetables, oatmeal, healthy fats, beans and chicken or vegetable broths. Other foods on the menu include chicken, fish, peanut butter, diluted juices and spices. Almond banana breakfast oats, tofu stir-fry and lemon turkey soup are three recipes that adhere to the diet and include such foods.
To make almond banana breakfast oats, bring 1 cup of almond milk to a boil, and add 1/2 cup of oats. Reduce the heat to medium, and stir. Stir in cinnamon to taste, and keep the mixture cooking for five minutes, stirring every couple of minutes. Reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook until the oats are cooked to your desired consistency. Mix 1 sliced banana with 1 tablespoon of almond butter, and top the oats with the mixture.
To make a tofu stir-fry, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 10 drops of chili oil and 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame oil to a wok on high heat. Add 1/2 brick of cubed tofu, and stir-fry it for two minutes. Reduce the heat to medium-high, and add 4 cups of stir-fry vegetables, such as napa cabbage, broccoli and white cabbage. Cook for three more minutes.
To make lemon turkey soup, add 6 cups of chicken broth, 1 chopped red onion, 2 cups of cooked brown rice, 2 cups of diced cooked turkey and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper to a large pan. Bring the mixture to a boil, and simmer it for 10 minutes. Remove the soup from the heat, and stir in 1/4 to 1/3 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 to 1/2 cup of minced cilantro.
