What Is a Voter Guide?

Voter guides are designed to provide non-partisan information about the voting process. They are intended to cover information such as why to vote, where to vote, how to complete the voting process and what to expect when voting.

Anyone interested in accessing the official voter guide may do so via the United States Election Assistance Commission's website. The guide can be downloaded in 11 languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. It covers the essentials of voting, from voter registration to ballot-casting. It also covers such helpful information as eligibility requirements, the early voting process, how to register and vote if one is in the military or living abroad and voting accessibility services.
