Full Answer

The TN property viewer allows searches for property ownership and location in 81 counties in Tennessee, as of 2015. It works together with the real estate assessment data site maintained by the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. The portal is set up for you to select the county of the property and choosing the search type. Beside searching by parcel number, subdivision or owner name, you can search by property address. Fifteen counties, including the cities of Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Murfreesboro and Chattanooga, all operate their own property search web portals.
