Senator Feinstein is a former mayor of San Francisco who first took Senate office in a special election. During her time in the Senate, she has experience as chairperson on the Committee on Rules and Administration and the Select Committee on Intelligence.
Senator Boxer served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1983 until her Senate election. During her Senate tenure, she has chaired the Committee on the Environment and Public Works as well as the Select Committee on Ethics.
