According to cvnews.ca, Yellow Pages Group said that people, particularly in urban areas, tend to use online and mobile resources to look up phone numbers. Residents who want to obtain a copy of the residential directory have to call YPG Distribution Services at 1-800-268-5637 or visit Yellow Pages Group website and request a copy. The company said that this decision decreased the number of phone books distributed by more than five million copies per year across Canada.
