To renew your food stamps in Florida, wait for the new card to arrive at the beginning of the month of expiration. If the card is past its expiration date, call 888-356-3281. If your address has changed, report it on the website of Florida Department of Children and Families.
Every EBT card has an expiration date printed on its front side. The month and year of expiry are preceded by the words "Good Thru," which indicates that the validity period of the card ends on the last day of that month.
Normally, at the beginning of the Good Thru month, the Florida Department of Children and Families sends the new EBT card via mail. However, if your address has changed, open your MyAccess account on the website of Florida Department of Children and Families, and report the change of address on it.
If you are no longer receiving the SNAP benefits, reapply for the EBT card online using the same website. Alternatively, download the application form, fill it in, and fax or mail it to the contact details given on the site.
When reapplying for the card, ensure that you fulfill the same eligibility criteria that were fulfilled earlier. Upon approval, you can use the old EBT card to receive benefits provided it has not gone past the expiration date and your case number is still the same.
