The Virginia Department of Elections provides an online list of 2015 candidates for local offices. Once you go to the Department of Elections website, click on 2015 Official Candidates - Local Offices and all local candidates who ran in the general election are listed together with their party affiliation. The same site also provides a list of Democratic local primary candidates for the local primary elections.

The Michigan Department of State's elections division also has an online candidate list where you can determine the local Democratic Party candidates running for office in a current election, or who ran for office in a past local election. Go to the Candidate Listings and Election Results – Local page of the website. Clicking on a county name lists the election candidates for that county.

The Albemarle County Democratic Party website also provides a list of all Democratic Party candidates standing for election, including those seeking local offices. Clicking on the name of the candidate brings up information about the candidate and their backgrounds.
