Full Answer

A candidate must be a certified CPA or work for a minimum of three years at a professional accounting firm to qualify for entry into the FBI accounting program. Entry into the computer program requires a degree in a computer-related discipline or electrical engineering. Absent a degree in that area, a candidate can qualify with certain computer certifications in conjunction with a degree in another field. Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew, Punjabi and Vietnamese are a few of the languages that can gain a candidate entry into the language program. There is also an entry program for candidates with law degrees. Candidates with degrees in other fields must also possess an advanced degree or full-time work experience.
