As of 2015, Florida has 77 full service and 26 satellite CareerSource Florida Centers, or unemployment offices, throughout the state. Full service centers offer all available employment and training services. A limited number of such services are available at satellite centers.
CareerSource Florida offers numerous services for job seekers, including preparing resumes, practicing interviews, researching job prospects, finding training and locating recruitment events. Each CareerSource center works with local employers to find matches for unemployed individuals.
Employers are also eligible for CareerSource services. CareerSource offers assistance in finding and screening job candidates, scheduling interviews, running recruitment events and sharing data about local labor markets. CareerSource also helps match employers with veterans, people with disabilities, students and individuals with advanced or specialized degrees.
