There has been at least one lawsuit against Nerium AD. According to ABC News, actor Ray Liotta sued Nerium AD in 2014 for using his likeness and his name without permission. He claimed the company used his image in before-and-after photos, even though he had never used it.
According to MyNewsLA.com, Ray Liotta and Nerium AD reached a settlement in December 2014. Nerium AD has said publicly that its partners published the pictures of Ray Liotta and that the company didn't make or approve them.
In addition to the Ray Liotta case, Downtown L.A. Law Group has been investigating claims against Nerium AD for false advertising and alleged side effects of the product, including allergic skin reactions, according to a statement published on its website in 2014.
