The official website of the Supreme Court of the United States provides an extensive database on all Supreme Court rulings. The website has categorized opinions and rulings, so users can search by opinions, oral arguments and case documents. As of October 2015, cases and opinions from 2009 through 2015 are available on the U.S. Supreme Court website.

The opinions of the United State Supreme Court are published in a set of books called the United States Reports. As of October 2015, the reports consisted of 560 bound volumes and soft-cover prints. In addition to the opinions issued during a certain period, a volume may contain a roster of Court officers and Justices, an announcements of Justices' retirements and memorial proceedings for any deceased Justices. A cumulative table of cases are included in the bound volumes, as is a statistical table that summarizes the case activity for the past three court terms. The books are bound by private firms under contract with the U.S. Government Printing Office.
