Depending on the state and court's regulations, individuals may need their website user ID and password in order to access child support case information, according to the State of New Jersey. Residents in Florida also need their User ID and password, the State of Florida advises. Florida residents can sign up for online access, if eligible, through the Florida Department of Revenue, the Miami-Dade State Attorney's office or the Manatee County Clerk of Courts.
Residents in the State of California can register for an online account through Customer Connect, the California Department of Child Support Services explains. Once registered, residents can obtain child support case information through the website, or by calling one of three different toll-free numbers during regular business hours. The Customer Connect website provides a link of child support offices and the business hours for each.
To create an account on the Customer Connect website, residents need their Social Security numbers or participant ID numbers, the Department of Child Support Services notes. The website also provides information on how to request and use a Customer Connect Pin, and how to make child support payments. Once registered for online access, residents can also update contact information, print child support forms, and obtain payment history and information.
